Welcome to Wellsburg 4th of July 2015
A 9 Day Celebration
A 9 Day Celebration
I would like to thank the wonderful people of Wellsburg for participating in the 4th of July events
The Wellsburg 4th of July Committee wants to thank the great bands, the gracious sponsors, the outstanding city & officials, and especially YOU…..the wonderful citizens who endured the rain as well as the chilly weather to make the festivities as successful as they were. You great people from our awesome little corner of the state sat through some soggy evenings in your sweatshirts and blankets, ironically in July, to enjoy each other’s company, share some laughs, hear some amazing music, and most importantly celebrate one of the greatest rights bestowed upon us by our forefathers, INDEPENDENCE.
The celebration would not have been complete without a tribute to the true heroes of the valley, the firefighters and first responders. These brave men and women risk their lives every time that signal sounds. Morning, noon, or night our heroes stand ready to come to our rescue, put out a fire, or get us quick medical attention no matter what it takes. This was the July Fourth Committee and Wellsburg’s opportunity to say THANK YOU for your dedicated service and May Your Banners Forever Wave.
The Committee hopes that everyone enjoyed the concerts, activities, parade, and the fireworks. We could not do this without your support. We wish everyone a safe and happy rest of the year. Best wishes and our many, many thanks for all of your support.
